This turtle-like NPC was a concept design that never made it into the final game. Their existence was brought to light in the official UNDERTALE Art Book. They appear to be wearing glasses, green pants, a white coat, a red tie, holding a black cane in one hand, and holding a brown suitcase in the other.

21 de ene. de 2019 · I’ve heard people explain that it’s because he’s a turtle, but I find that pretty ridiculous, since I don’t believe many of the other monsters age based on what species they resemble, like the dogs. I always assumed he’s a boss monster, and that he may have lost loved ones in the war, which shows in his age.

15 de jul. de 2021 · We found this turtle with an injured eye on the road. We brought him home so that the eye could have a chance to heal heal without the risk of him being killed. I decided to call him Gerson.
