Statue of Robson at Portman Road in Ipswich. Robson was awarded a number of honours for his contributions to football. In 1990, at the end of his eight-year reign as England manager, he was appointed a CBE in 1991 and in 2002, he was knighted; both awards were for services to football.

Sculpted by Ipswich Town fan Sean Hedges-Quinn, it was commissioned by the Ipswich Town Supporters' Association and funded by Ipswich Borough Council and electricity company TXU. Robson was manager of the club from 1969 until 1982, during which time he won the 1973 Texaco Cup Final, the 1978 FA Cup Final and the 1981 UEFA Cup Final.
