13 de jun. de 2016 · Former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise has confirmed his retirement from professional football at the age of 36. The Norwegian, who most recently played for the club where his career started, Aalesund, revealed the news in a blog post on his official website on Monday.
John Arne Riise is a former Norwegian left-back who played for Liverpool from 2001 to 2008. He scored four goals in 348 appearances for the Reds, including the fastest goal in the Carling Cup final in 2005 and the decisive penalty in the Champions League final in 2005. He also won the FA Cup in 2006-07.
